As each member only has a one-eighth share in the house, please treat the house and vehicle with due care and respect, most notably:
EXTRACTS FROM THE ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT
AA Clause 7.3: In the event of damage to the vehicle, the insurance excess shall be payable by the member. The balance of the cost will be borne by the CC. This excludes the cost of any damage as a result of fair wear and tear. (Per minutes of the 2018 AGM, the truck may be driven by any visitor with a valid driver's licence but in light of clauses 7.3, 8.4 and 9.3, it is suggested that the state of the truck both before and after each visit is reported back on - as noted in the checklist. Take photographic evidence if necessary).
AA Clause 8.4: Members may make their weeks available to family and friends who are non-members provided they have been guests at the house before with the member and are familiar with the rules. Members are responsible for ensuring that their visitors are aware of all house information and rules. Clause 9.3 will be applied more strictly in this case.
AA Clause 9.1: Everything in Beechwood Lodge, except for the contents of members' private cupboards, is common property and may be freely used by each occupant. This includes all furniture and appliances, all crockery and cutlery, all towels and bed linen, all foodstuffs and kitchen materials, all sports and recreational equipment, and the game drive vehicle.
AA Clause 9.2: Any broken or chipped utensils or shortages occurring during a visit should be reported to members. Refunds for significant expenses incurred may be claimed back from the CC by submitting the details, supported by original invoices, to the Chairman (Bookkeeper).
AA Clause 9.3: Any expenses arising during a visit that are not deemed to be fair wear and tear shall be for the private account of the member who is using the property.

REQUESTS
Please only make fires in the fireplace indoors or the braai pit in the lapa outside, and please make sure that all fires (indoor and out) are completely extinguished before leaving them unattended.

Please do not smoke anywhere inside the house, and do not throw matches or cigarette butts on the ground outside.
Please put the plastic-backed mattress protectors provided on children’s beds & the sleeper couch, and use the cotton throws to protect the sofas from dirt.
Please keep children under close supervision for their own safety as well as that of the house.
Please do not use the lavatories as rubbish bins, flush unnecessarily, or use harsh chemical cleansers, as the sewerage system has a septic tank.
Please do not take long showers or leave taps running as water is limited.
Please do not use bath towels or bedding/furniture out of doors. Coloured towels for the pool are available.
